An inter school Mathematics Crossword Competition ‘Numeromagic’ was organised on 9th December 2015. Overall 132 students of various leading schools of Nagpur had participated in this unique competition of its own. It was an effort to make the students aware the importance of Mathematics. To entertain the participants, school students presented a drama.

 

Shri Pradeep Muktibodh (M.Sc, Ph.D Mathematics and Asst. Professor (Retd) Department of Mathematics, Hislop College, Nagpur) graced the occasion. Shri Muktibodh told the importance of Mathematics by giving various examples. He even gave a motivational speech on Mathematics.

In Junior Group - Centre Point School Katol Road Nagpur, emerged as winners. The second and third position was notched by Bhawans B.P. Vidya Mandir Civil Lines, Nagpur & Ira International School, Buti Bori, Nagpur. In Senior Category – T.B.R.A.N’s Mundle English Medium School emerged as winners and the second and third position was notched by Bhawans B.P. Vidya Mandir Shrikrishna Nagar, Nagpur & Centre Point School, Katol Road, Nagpur respectively.
